He slouched in the worn leather chair, a smirk playing on his lips that suggested he found the whole situation amusing rather than admonishing. Across the imposing oak desk, Principal Geisha’s steely gaze remained fixed on him, her posture impeccably rigid, a stark contrast to his calculated slouch. She finally broke the silence, her voice a low, controlled murmur that carried more authority than any shout ever could. “Your continual disruptions, Danny, have left me with no alternative but a more severe form of detention,” she stated, her eyes narrowing as she assessed his unrepentant demeanor.
