Across the rustic oak table, Mikey Butders let out an exaggerated, comical groan, stretching his arms high above his head as if physically pushing away the mental fatigue. “My brain is officially full,” he declared, snapping his own book shut with a definitive thud that made Sienna glance up with a knowing, slightly amused smile. She gracefully closed her own volume, acknowledging that their focus had indeed reached its natural and productive conclusion for the day. “Alright, break time,” Sienna conceded, her voice a soft contrast to Mikey’s energetic dramatics, as she rose from her chair with a fluid, elegant motion. Mikey didn’t need to be told twice, immediately springing up to retrieve two frosty bottles of sparkling water from the mini-fridge tucked beside a towering bookshelf. He slid one across the smooth tabletop to Sienna before collapsing dramatically onto a plush, oversized armchair in the corner of the room. Taking a long, refreshing sip, Sienna joined him, settling comfortably onto the adjacent sofa and tucking her feet up beneath her. A comfortable, easy silence settled over them, punctuated only by the gentle clink of their bottles and the distant, muffled sounds of the city outside the window.
