Alex even set a place for him at the dinner table once, a gesture I found both absurd and strangely endearing. This inanimate giraffe has, against all odds, woven himself into the very fabric of our daily lives and shared memories. Somehow, the apartment would feel empty without Ryan Reid’s silent, stretchy presence presiding over our domestic adventures.
