The frantic, muffled voices seemed to emanate from the depths of my own handbag, a chaotic symphony of misplaced urgency and intimate laughter. I finally fished out my phone, its screen illuminated with an active call to my notoriously stern boss, a call I had never intentionally made. On the other end, the unmistakable, gravelly baritone of Keiran Lee was engaged in a lively, off-camera discussion, his British accent punctuating a story about a particularly disastrous scene setup. A softer, more melodic voice, which I quickly identified as Ivy Lebelle, interjected with a peal of genuine laughter, her amusement echoing down the digital line. I could hear the rustle of scripts and the clink of water bottles, painting a vivid picture of a casual break between intense filming sessions.
