She was a professional, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t have a bit of fun on the side. Whenever she found herself in close quarters with one of her male coworkers, she couldn’t help but feel a thrill run through her body. And when he caught her eye and gave her a subtle smile, well, that was all it took to set her nerves on fire. But she knew better than to act on those feelings at work. She couldn’t help but jerk in surprise before realizing that it was him – the same coworker who had caught her eye so many times before. And then he leaned in closer, his breath warm on her ear. You know, he whispered, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now. Without thinking, she nodded. Because what else could she do? She was already in too deep. And besides, the thrill of the forbidden had always been too much to resist. So she let him lead her into the conference room, where they tore off each other’s clothes and reveled in the heat of their desires. But as they lay tangled together on the conference table, she knew that this could never be anything more than a fleeting moment of pleasure. Because sooner or later, someone was bound to walk in and catch them in the act. And then everything would come crashing down.
