The Neighborhood Snoop: Episode 1 As I walked down the street, my eyes roamed over every house, searching for a glimpse of something worthwhile. My curiosity was piqued when I noticed a light on in one particular home that had been dark since last week. I couldn’t help but wonder what could have happened to cause such a sudden change. Without hesitation, I made my way to the front door and rang the bell. As I waited for someone to answer, my heart raced with anticipation of what might unfold. When the door finally opened, I was greeted by a woman who seemed startled by my presence. Excuse me, is anyone home? I asked, trying not to seem too intrusive. Yes, but why are you here? This isn’t a usual time for visitors, she replied, her voice shaking slightly. I just wanted to check on you. Is everything okay? I asked, genuinely concerned. She hesitated for a moment before nodding her head in assent. Thanks for checking on me. It’s just been a rough few days. As I stood there talking to her, my mind wandered to all the possibilities of what could have happened. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder, turning me around and facing someone else entirely. You didn’t tell me you had company, a deep voice whispered in my ear. I turned around, ready to apologize for my intrusion when I saw him. He was tall, muscular, and dressed in all black, making it difficult to see his face clearly. But one thing was certain: he was here to cause trouble.
