I love to watch my child’s face as they learn and grow, it’s like a blooming flower, full of promise and potential. The first step in setting them up for success is creating an environment that fosters their curiosity and creativity. As they grow older, my child’s confidence will soar with each accomplishment, but I know that it’s not just about the grades or accolades, it’s also about tilling in them a sense of self-worth and resilience. So, I make sure to praise their efforts rather than their outcomes, and encourage them to keep trying even when things get tough. It’s not just what we say to our children that matters, but how we show up for them as well. When they see us modeling resilience and perseverance in our own lives, it helps them understand that failure is a natural part of the learning process, and that setbacks are temporary.
