Her heart raced as she listened to the sound of the lock turning, and then the click of the door. She took a deep breath, hoping that he wouldn’t notice her. But as soon as he turned on the light, she knew that she had been caught. He smiled at her, and she felt her heart flutter. Hi, he said. I didn’t know you were here. She tried to speak, but her voice caught in her throat. She wanted to tell him how much she had missed him, how much she longed for his touch. But she knew that if she spoke, he would only leave again. So she remained silent, watching as he moved towards her. He stopped in front of her, and she could feel the heat radiating from his body.
