Title: Unmasking the Truth: Scene 2 The room was dimly lit, with only a few flickering candles providing illumination. The air was thick with the scent of incense and sandalwood, mingling with the sweet smell of freshly cut roses. As she entered, she could hear the soft rustling of fabric as he moved, his every movement measured and calculated. She knew that he was watching her every step, his eyes boring into hers from behind the veil that concealed half of his face. She felt a shiver run down her spine at the thought of what lay hidden behind it. Her heart raced as she approached him, her steps growing steadier with each passing moment.
