The Haunting: Scene #01 As I stepped into the abandoned mansion, a cold chill ran down my spine. The dusty air hung heavy and still, and the silence was broken only by the creaking of floorboards underfoot. The dim light filtered through cracked windows illuminated empty rooms littered with decaying furniture and cobwebs. A musty odor permeated the air, and I could feel eyes watching me from the shadows. Suddenly, a door slammed shut behind me, and I jumped in surprise. In the next room, I stumbled upon a mysterious woman dressed in black. Her pale skin glowed in the moonlight that filtered through a window, casting an eerie shadow across her face. She was beautiful but had an otherworldly quality about her, as if she were not quite human. Our eyes locked, and she smiled, revealing sharp teeth. Without warning, she lunged at me, and I felt cold, sharp nails dig into my flesh. But when I looked down, there were no marks on my skin. She vanished in a puff of smoke, leaving me alone once again. My heart raced as I searched for an exit, but the only way out was through the room where we had first met. As I stepped into that room, I saw her standing by the window, looking out at me with sadness in her eyes. She beckoned me closer, and I hesitantly approached. When I reached her side, she whispered something in my ear, but I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Suddenly, the room disappeared, and we were transported to another time and place.
