Ghostly Encounters: Scene 4 As she stepped into the abandoned mansion, the hair on the back of her neck stood up. The air was cold and damp, and there was a strange energy in the air that she couldn’t quite put her finger on. She felt as though she was being watched, but when she turned around, there was no one there. Slowly, she made her way through the darkened rooms, each one more eerie than the last. The only light came from a flickering candle in the distance, casting shadows on the walls that seemed to move and twist like living things. Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind her, trapping her ide. She turned around, but there was no one there. The room seemed to be getting colder by the second, and she could feel something dark and malevolent lurking just beyond her senses.
